Yoga Retreats are held quarterly

Yoga is a graceful and nurturing way of helping you deal with the stresses and strains of everyday life. Using movement, breathing, relaxation, meditation, silence, sound and art you learn to bring yourself to a point of balance and calm no matter what is happening around you.

With a limit of 13 people per Yoga Retreat, the aim is to give you time out, deepen your understanding of Yoga and strengthen your sense of inner knowledge and valuing of self in the face of external stresses.

Saturday Program - Morning:

Early morning Yoga class (In Moana)

  • Breakfast (in Moana)
  • Karma Yoga
  • Workshop 1
  • Silent walking meditation
  • Yoga Nidra - deep meditation/relaxation practice

Saturday Program - Afternoon:

  • Workshop 2
  • Strong Asana class
  • Healing Mantra
  • Dinner
  • Kirtan (chanting)
  • Meditation
  • Moana

Sunday Program:

  • Early morning Yoga class (In Moana)
  • Breakfast (In Moana)
  • Karma Yoga
  • Workshop 1
  • Silent walking meditation, followed by Healing Snake Ceremony
  • Yoga Nidra followed by Feedback session
  • Leave after lunch at 2.00p.m

Your two Yoga teachers are:

Shilamurti (trained in Satyananda Tradition of Yoga)

An accredited Satyananda teacher with 28 years experience and a member of SYTA, Shilamurti brings tremendous depth, counselling experience and an Holistic Healing approach to her interaction with Yoga Retreat attendees.

Parvati (trained in Stayanada Tradition of Yoga)

With 30 years experience, Parvati also uses her massage and reflexology skills to make her teaching of Yoga a deeply healing and enlivening experience.
